PRE-PRINTED (STAMPED) CANVAS
The fabric of this cross stitch kit is pre-printed (stamped) with pattern and numbers representing thread colours. This makes it faster and easier to complete – simply match each number of thread colour on the fabric to the number on the thread card included with the cross stitch kit. The ink is water-soluble and is easily washed off once finished by soaking the fabric in water, but please avoid getting it wet before finishing as the printed part may disappear.
EXTRA YARN INCLUDED
This embroidery kit includes extra yarn to ensure there is more than enough to complete each cross stitch pattern. Each thread in the yarn is composed of 6 loosely twisted together and easily separable strands and needs to be separated into individual strands before stitching. 14-count (14CT) fabric should be stitched with 2-strand thread, so each thread should be divided into three 2-strand threads before cross stitching, while 11-count (11CT) fabric is stitched with 3-strand thread, so each thread should be divided into two 3-strand threads.

I'm delighted with it. Looks like a full on challenge but I went with the printed option..
Edit to say completed it after 1.5yrs with a few starts as it was so big but delighted with the finish. So happy. Love it...
My daughter would say its better to have a small clip on light to use especially for the lions as the colours are a close match.
So the light helps.
She finds using one colour at a time works for her.
So she finish one colour on the whole piece then use another, light to start with then darker colours.
My lovely daughter is half way through. I will post a picture when she completes it.
She only has a couple of hours a night to do it, so shes doing well. And shes enjoying it better than no print.
She said the chart has different symbols but the chart has a line of them with what it is so not to worry about that.
This will be framed when she finishes it.
Enjoy doing it your own way. And dont stress yourself just relax she said.
If you do any wrong just unpick and redo.
The paper chart has symbols that does not correspond with the printed fabric and is no help,
I am trying to workout which dark square to follow as there are several dark ones close together. The symbols and colour charts are misleading, the overall printing is dark and indistinct, I wouldnt recommend for beginners and I am losing the will to finish this one, it is a shame it has the making to be a lovely picture! I consider myself experienced and have had much pleasure in completing cross-stitch pictures,
