PRE-PRINTED (STAMPED) CANVAS

The fabric of this cross stitch kit is pre-printed (stamped) with pattern and numbers representing thread colours. This makes it faster and easier to complete – simply match each number of thread colour on the fabric to the number on the thread card included with the cross stitch kit. The ink is water-soluble and is easily washed off once finished by soaking the fabric in water, but please avoid getting it wet before finishing as the printed part may disappear.

EXTRA YARN INCLUDED

This embroidery kit includes extra yarn to ensure there is more than enough to complete each cross stitch pattern. Each thread in the yarn is composed of 6 loosely twisted together and easily separable strands and needs to be separated into individual strands before stitching. 14-count (14CT) fabric should be stitched with 2-strand thread, so each thread should be divided into three 2-strand threads before cross stitching, while 11-count (11CT) fabric is stitched with 3-strand thread, so each thread should be divided into two 3-strand threads.

I've only just got the crossstitch kit so I've not completed the design yet.

However, I have began the project and I'm finding the preprinted design on the fabric brilliant. Obviously, it's so much easier and quicker to do than it would be on a blank fabric.

I saw several reviews that complained about not having sufficient thread to complete the design. Therefore instead of using three strands of thread, I'm using two strands of thread, to crossstitch with.

I've almost completed this kit. There is sufficient threads with the Berries in Wine Glass kit. I could have used the 3 strands of thread to cross-stitch with that was recommended in the instructions, instead of the 2 strands of thread which I used as a result of reading a precious review by a customer who stated that there was insufficient threads in their kit. When I'd completed the cross-stitching, I washed the cloth before I starting on the backstitching. The finished results of the cross-stitching is still good. I'm at present finishing off the backstitching. I'm very happy with this product. I highly recommend the Berries in Wine Glass kit.
